Guest Teacher

Marissa Gani is originally from the Bay Area, California, and has trained in ballet, character, and contemporary. She gained experience through RAD exams, competitions, and annual Nutcracker performances. Throughout high school, she branched out to different styles of dance, teaching choreography and leading many performing groups. Being captain on her color guard team, she mentored beginners on dance technique and foundations, and found her passion for teaching.

 

Marissa moved to New York for university, studying Biomolecular Engineering and hoping to understand the underlying anatomy and mechanisms relating to dance. She continues her dance journey as part of NYU’s The Ballet Collaborative (which is where she met ABC’s Amandine!). Marissa is so excited to sub for Amandine and keep exploring what New York’s dance community has to offer!
